Management & Tourism

TRAINING STRUCTURE

The Faculty of Management and Tourism, Hanoi University has been the first one in Vietnam that has had 100% subjects delivered in English in accordance with standard curricula of the UK, the US, or Australia. Besides, the FMT provides training courses in accounting, audit, and financial analysis, such as ACCA and CFA.


LECTURERS

– More than 80% of the lecturers hold the master and doctor degrees from UK, USA, and Australia;
– The staff lecturers have real experiences and are experts in management or finance in corporations, tourist companies or hotels.

STUDENTS

– The Faculty has almost 1600 students;
– Students are creative, dynamic, and enthusiastic in social activities, such as Sharing Smiles organization, One Heart Land, Clubs of Marketing, Accounting, Stock, TRC Tourism Community, SIFE project for the public, etc.
– Students have been champions at the CFA Research Challenge held by the Certified Finance Analyst Institute in 2011; students have also received copper prize for their business ideas held by HSBC in Hong Kong;
– Students have opportunities to enroll in similar programs in prestigious universities once they successfully complete the 2nd and/or 3rd year;
– Scholarship opportunities are given to students by enterprises (KPMG, Unilever), universities (Singapore National University, Sogun University – Korea), and other organizations in Vietnam, etc.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS            
The FMT strives to develop cooperation and promotes student exchange programs with prestigious universities as the followings:

• Nanyang Technological University (Singapore)

• Sheffield Hallam University (UK)
• Kangnung National University (Korea)


EMPLOYMENT

– 90% of students are able to find appropriate jobs during their internship course with quite high payments;
– Graduates can be managers or employees at companies or banks;
– Potential employers are KPMG, Ernst & Young, Unilever, VCCI, Travel Support, Inter Continental, hotels and other stock companies, etc.
