Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao received REI Vietnam Director James Woo Kang

On the morning of June 29, 2022, Mr. James Woo Kang – Director of Resource Exchange International (REI) and Madam Tran Phuong Lien – Chief Representative of the Project Office in Vietnam visited and worked at Hanoi University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao, together with representatives of the International Cooperation Department, the Faculty of English, the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Business Administration and Tourism welcomed Mr. Kang and Madam Lien.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao thanked REI Vietnam for visiting Hanoi University after a very long time being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. The President introduces the HANU representatives participating to host the meeting include ones from the Faculty of English, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Business Administration and Tourism with the desire to expand cooperation in related activities between Hanoi University and REI in the time coming.

Over the years, Hanoi University has witnessed remarkable changes, but its affection and relationship with REI is still deep and intimate. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Trao expressed his sincere thanks to REI for the effective companionship as well as friendship dedicated to the University. The President hopes that this traditional cooperation will help the two sides to expand and deepen next activities, and through today’s meeting, after understanding the needs and expertise of the University, REI will accompany and help the University with efficient solutions.

Mr. James Woo Kang said that he has only been to Vietnam for 2 months but has learned a lot about the long-term relationship between REI and HANU. REI appreciates the opportunity to cooperate with HANU for many years, so that REI has opportunities to contribute to the development of many fields, including education.

Director James Woo Kang was very pleased to see that the good relationship built by the two sides can continue to develop. He hoped that, this year, the two sides could restart cooperation activities, and expressed his wish to exchange information regularly with training faculties so that they can understand the professional competence as well as needs of Hanoi University, thereby helping REI to provide effective support and solutions.
