Project LAB-MOVIE held an online meeting to summarize the first work package of the Project
HANU – The Labor Market Survey Project at Universities in Vietnam (LAB-MOVIE) funded by the European Commission with the participation of 32 members including universities in Italy, Spain and Vietnam. In which, Padova University (Italy) is the main project coordinator on the European side and Hanoi University is the main project coordinator on the Vietnamese side.
In Vietnam, besides Hanoi University, there were five members, including Hanoi Industrial University; Nguyen Tat Thanh University – Ho Chi Minh City; Thai Nguyen University; Vietnam Agricultural Institute; Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. Project LAB-MOVIE held a kick-off session in mid-January 2020 at the University of Padova (Italy).
After the implementation period, on the afternoon of May 12, 2020, the LAB-MOVIE project held an online meeting to summarize the first work package (by the end of May 2020). The summary of the project is the basis for Project members in Vietnam to complete a report (in Vietnamese and English) on an overview of the labour market and key industry groups in the Tourism and Technology, Food, Telecommunications and Information technology sectors.
Also at the online meeting, the participants discussed and agreed on the orientation of the second work package (surveying business needs for each industry group) and expected that from June 17-18. 2020 the online session will continue to discuss the results of this second work package. In addition, at the meeting, it is also proposed to organize a training course in Vietnam in September 2020 with two sessions for the project’s managerial and researcher positions.
