Hanoi University works with the Delegation of University of Applied Sciences – Germany
HANU – In the afternoon of December 6, 2019, Dr. Alexander AU, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) led the Delegation of Universities of Applied Sciences (Germany) to visit and work with Hanoi University. The members of the delegation are representatives of 06 universities including Ms. Isabella Schimitzek from University of Applied Sciences (KHUD) APOLLON; Prof. Dr. Mechthild Schrooten from Bremen City University KHUD; Prof. Dr. Thomas Russack from Automation and Management Institute of KHUD FOM University; Ms. Marina Weidner from International Relations Department of KHUD Magdeburg-Stendal University; Professor Joseph Lodewijk Kleuters from Rhine-Waal International KHUD University and Dr. Rana ÖZTÜRK – Project Manager of European KHUD University.
President Nguyen Van Trao and leaders of the International Ofice, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Management and Tourism had an intimate reception.
At the reception, President Nguyen Van Trao warmly welcomed the members of the delegation who visited Hanoi University. According to the President, he himself had just led a school mission to work with a number of partners in Germany in late November 2019. The President gave an overview of Hanoi University with a history of more than half a century of construction and development, with experience and achievements in foreign languages training and majors in foreign languages. The President hoped that, through this mission, it could provide more opportunities for cooperation between Hanoi University and the universities of the applied sciences of Germany.
To provide the delegation with insights about Hanoi University, leaders of International Ofice, Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Management and Tourism, Faculty of International Studies and other Members of the delegation were divided into small groups to exchange information and discuss. Each university has strengths in training majors with different sizes, yet it promises to be potential partnerships with Hanoi University in the future.
