COVID-19 Update
In accordance with Hanoi People’s Committee’s announcement, starting from July 19, non-essential services will be temporarily suspended and asked that residents stay home, avoid public gatherings of over two people, and continue social distancing.
All residents and students, therefore, should only leave home if really necessary like going to work at public agencies or to buy food and pharmaceuticals, or in case of emergency care, national disasters, and fires. When you leave home, please strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s 5K message: Khau trang (Face masks), Khu khuan (Disinfection), Khoang cach (Distancing), Khong tu tap (No gatherings), and Khai bao y te (Health declarations via www.tokhaiyte.vn or Ncovi, Bluezone applications). A gathering of more than two people outside public buildings, schools, and hospitals are prohibited.
Suspension of all non-essential services
The municipal authorities also decided to suspend all non-essential services. Factories, production facilities and establishments providing essential goods and services that are allowed to open must strictly follow preventive measures.
Travel from/to Ha Noi restricted
Residents are asked to refrain from travelling from other localities to Ha Noi and vice versa.
All people returning from other localities shall have to conduct health declaration right after they enter the city.
Hanoi University reminds all students to strictly follow Vietnamese laws, regulations and comply with the Vietnamese government’s testing and quarantine requirements.
