Opening Ceremony of Master Course in Theory and Methodology of Teaching English and Foreign Languages
HANU – In the morning of June 3, 2020, the opening ceremony of the 44th Master Course in Theory and Methodology of Teaching English and Foreign Languages (Master of TESOL & FLT) between Hanoi University and University of Canberra (Australia) took place at Hanoi University’s main hall. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach – Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, leaders of the university’s departments and 31 students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach – Chairman of the University Board of Trustees had an enthusiastic sharing with new students of the 44th course, hoping that during and after completing the program, each student will acquire and enhance their knowledge and skills to make each of your lectures look like a successful concert. Only when we have a positive attitude toward teaching, will we have success, according to Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach. Hanoi University and the University of Canberra have worked hard to create a quality, accredited study program in Australia; while at the same time, we commit to provide students with basic skills in teaching English as a foreign language, teaching English to foreigners. On behalf of Hanoi University, the Chairman sent his best wishes to all of the new students.
The joint Master Program in Theory and Methodology of Teaching English and Foreign Languages is an advanced training course which is designed in accordance with international standards in Vietnam. The program is directly managed by the University of Canberra with its study materials, modern equipment and facilities which aims to enable students to study and receive international degrees at reasonable costs. The program is designed to suit students who have a Bachelor’s degree in EFL majors and students with a Bachelor’s degree in other majors. The entire program is taught in English.
