Opening Ceremony of the Postgraduate Training Course under Master Programme of TESOL and FLT between Hanoi University and University of Canberra (Australia).
On May 21, 2019, Hanoi University organized the opening ceremony for the Postgraduate Training Course of the Master and Foreign Language Theory and Teaching Methods (MTESOL & FLT) – a joint MA programme between Hanoi University and the University of Canberra (Australia).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach – Vice President of the university congratulated the outstanding students who passed the entrance exam and became a new student of the program. According to Vice President, by participating in this course, students will have the opportunity to foster and improve their English skills, pedagogical skills as well as research skills in the field of linguistics. The Vice President expressed his trust and encouragement for students to study and make improvements after the course.
As a student who achieved the highest admissions score in the entrance exam of the course, Nguyen Thu Minh expressed the pride of attending the program at Hanoi University. Students also expressed hope that, through the course, they will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge, gain experience, improve their qualifications to develop their careers, and serve better teaching.
The Master of TESOL and FLT (Master of TESOL and FLT) specialized training programs are taught in English. The curriculum, the quality of education provided by the University of Canberra is directly managed according to international standards with modern learning materials, equipment and facilities. The total time of studying, writing, submitting and considering graduation is 02 years.
The program is designed to suit students who have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant majors and who have bachelor’s degrees in other fields.
Taking part in this program, students can be exposed to an advanced training program according to international standards in Vietnam, receiving an international degree at a reasonable cost. After admission to the program, students will be named in the student management system, granted ID, student ID to use the library and other school facilities. Upon entering Phase II, students can use the University of Canberra’s online library.
