Opportunities for cooperation between Hanoi University and Dublin University (Ireland)
On March 20, 2019 – Dr. Richards Collins – Vice Rector of School of Law and Social Sciences, Dublin University, Republic of Ireland visited and worked with Hanoi University. At the reception, there was the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Van Trao – President of Hanoi University, deans and directors of offices and departments: International Office, Academic Affairs Department and International Studies Department.
At the meeting, President Nguyen Van Trao expressed his pleasure and thanked Dr. Richards Collins for visiting Hanoi University, hoping to have the opportunity to invite Mr. Richard to exchange and teach the students of the Department of International Studies in the future; looking forward to further promote the development cooperation with Dublin University. Furthermore. Hanoi University is also willing to connect Dublin University with other universities in Vietnam.
In recent years, Hanoi University has always approached and sought international cooperation opportunities, providing high quality and specialised majors. There are many international students, those come from China, Japan, Korean, etc, studying at the university. President Nguyen Van Trao hopes to receive students from Dublin University to Hanoi University in the coming time.
In response to President Nguyen Van Trao, according to Dr. Richards Collins, he will explore and look forward to developing cooperation with universities in Vietnam, especially Hanoi University. Regarding the proposal of Hanoi University on research and student exchanges programmes, Dr. Richard is very willing to work with Hanoi University in this field.
Dublin University was founded in 1854, and known as one of Ireland’s two oldest universities, owning 2 large campuses near the centre of Dublin capital with state of the art learning equipment, research institutes, libraries, dormitories, and stadiums.
